About Mrs. Kasten...
Hello, Chargers! My name is Mrs. Kasten and I will be your English teacher. This is my seventh year teaching and I am looking forward to getting to know each of you! With a growing campus and a challenging curriculum I anticipate us having a phenomenal year together!
I am originally from Albany, Oregon but lived in Southern California for several years as a student and military wife on Camp Pendleton. I received my undergraduate degree from Hope International University in Liberal Studies and my Masters of Arts in Teaching from the University of Southern California in 2012. I am currently pursuing my doctorate at Grand Canyon University with an expected graduation date in 2020.
When I’m not teaching I enjoy reading, bicycling, traveling (Disneyland is my favorite), and playing card/board games with family and friends.
